Artisans Asylum announces Card to Culture

We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.  

  

EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive a 75% discount off of all classes and events. A MAKER’S WONDERLAND

Artisans Asylum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community space for making. We are a 52,000 sqft fabrication wonderland where imagination comes alive. We foster the conditions for freedom of thought, collaboration, and agency necessary for anyone to build the things they’re passionate about. Artisans’ provides nearly 1200 members with access to 160 personal studios, 15 shared workshops, and open spaces for collaboration.

Artisans Asylum is open to makers, hobbyists, and creative individuals eager to pursue their passion and connect with like-minded individuals. Our brand-new facility in Allston/Brighton is available and accessible to anyone in our community who has the desire to learn, teach and grow. With access to 15 shops, tools, and software Artisans strives to make it possible for you to access our cutting-edge facilities, training, and experiences.

INCUBATOR FOR STARTUPS AND ENTREPRENEURS

Our members contribute to the investigation of new ideas, materials, and processes that drive creativity, learning, and entrepreneurship far beyond our walls. Our goals are to provide anyone with: 1) affordable access to broad fabrication facilities; 2) instruction and training; and 3) startup support so that we may dramatically reduce the risks of creative and entrepreneurial activity.
