Shops & Equipment

Inventory of Equipment

Artisans Asylum Shops and Equipment are available to members and day pass users once you have joined, tested out on, and booked the needed tools in our booking system.

Our 52,000 SF shop and studio environment is split in two buildings, a “heavy duty” shop (55 Antwerp Street) and a “light duty” shop (96 Holton Street). Our 96 Holton Street location is our public building, housing our member gallery, gathering space, classroom and offices. Our 55 Antwerp Street location is closed to the public and accessible to non-members during tours.

This brief list of our tools and equipment can help you to identify what you might need access to before starting your membership. Our inventory is constantly growing so check back from time to time for a more detailed listing of our facilities’ capabilities.

To use our tools independently as a member or day pass user, you must demonstrate competent and safe use of the equipment to one of our trained instructors or take one of our training sessions or classes. Review the training classes schedule (currently on hold) or reach out to find out about scheduling private or semi-private training sessions.
