If you could reimagine your home, your room, or your neighborhood, how would that look? What would you change and how might that look? We have all spent more time in our environments and may have wondered how we can change what we see. In this session teens will learn how to reimagine their home environment using digital photography and design software.
This week-long, afterschool program allows students to enjoy the creative process of designing an alternative reality to their daily life using a visual medium. Guided sessions walk teens through how to perceive objects and use photography to give them new life and perspective. Teens will be introduced to digital editing software where they can use collage and photomontage techniques to alter what they see every day and design a new way to see their world.
This class will be run through Zoom and a link will be provided 24hrs before the start of the class. Students will need to be logged in to Zoom via a computer/mobile device each day from 3:30 – 5PM. Students will also need access to a smartphone or mobile device with a working camera.
