Painting & Drawing with Gouache

September 28 @ 6:30 pm

What the gouache?! Try out this water-soluble paint at home in our online class. Mondays; 9/28-10/19

Gouache is an amazing water-soluble paint that includes both pigment and a gum or additive that makes it more opaque than watercolor. The color lies on the surface of the paper, forming a continuous layer, or coating that allows for glorious layering. Perfect the art of glazing, manipulating layers, transparencies, and mixing. Practice rehydrating, dry brushing, mimicking watercolor, creating volume, wet-to-wet, and other techniques. Play with gouache in combination with other art media like colored pencils.
