Introduction to Screen Printing: Weeknights

Class Description
Screen printing is a great way to put your designs on t-shirts, tote bags, cards, posters, and more. But it can be a tricky skill to pick up on your own! Join us for a two-evening class, and we’ll take the mystery out of the process. Using the photo emulsion process and your design, we’ll prepare screens and print on a variety of surfaces. And we’ll do it all in a fun, relaxed environment.
Class Goals
By the end of this class, you’ll know how to coat a screen with emulsion, expose it, wash it out, and finally, print with it! You’ll experiment with printing on different surfaces and leave with a pile of cool, custom items that you created yourself. We will also provide a step-by-step guide to the skills we cover in class, so you can keep on printing on your own.
Class Dates
Monday and Wednesday, 12/9/19 – 12/11/19
Materials Fee
$10 fee payable to the Instructor prior to the start of class. Students will bring surfaces to print on: paper, cards, tote bags, t-shirts, etc.
