This socially-distanced class is open to people of all artistic levels who want to explore the human form through drawing and painting. Figure drawing is a great opportunity to keep your artistic skills sharp, whether you are a seasoned artists or a beginner. The model will strike and hold various poses for varied lengths of time: you will have the opportunity to work on quick sketching skills as well as longer stretches.
Students will practice their drawing, sketching and charcoal techniques while drawing from a model. Gentle guidance is provided by the instructor who is available to help improve techniques and skills during the session.
Safety protocols will be in place for this event: masks must be worn at all times, stations will be >6ft apart.
Please bring our own drawing materials, including drawing supplies, charcoal or painting supplies of your choice. If you wish, bring a drawing surface. Beginners: charcoal and large paper pad are recommended.
No experience necessary — all-levels. This class open to anyone interested in practicing their drawing skills.
