Develop your basic woodworking skills by building a ukulele from a simple wood kit. Sand, glue, assemble, and personalize your one-of-a-kind instrument and learn a few basic chords along the way. No prior music or woodworking experience required. Leave the class with a uke in your hands, a song in your heart, and a smile on your face! This multi-session class is open to adults and adult/child teams (14 and up).
**Guardian/child teams may work together on a single ukulele kit; teams may purchase multiple kits prior to the class — please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an additional kit for $45.
Sundays; 1/12/20 – 1/26/20
-Learn/review/practice basic woodworking skills (sanding, gluing, assembling, painting).
-Understand the parts and structure of a wood acoustic stringed instrument.
-Leave the class with a unique soprano ukulele that you built and decorated yourself.
$45 payable to the Instructor. You will receive a complete ukulele kit and all necessary tools and materials will be provided.
