Do you have some old t-shirts you no longer wear because they have a few holes or stains? Don’t throw them away! Turn them into yarn to make a funky yet sturdy, functional basket. In the first session students will make yarn with their own old t-shirts. Then they will learn how to make a basket base with clothesline. In the second session, students will learn different patterns possible with the twining technique and how to make a rim to finish the basket. Students are encouraged to share their yarn to have a variety of colors. Finished dimensions will vary.
