3D Printers Workshop: Schedule A Private Tool Training Session [July 2021]

July 30 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Learn to 3D Print on the entry-level printers: Flashforge and Taz

For your safety, private sessions will be arranged via email but TRAINING WILL NOT OCCUR ON THE LISTED DATE. You will receive an email to schedule a private session with an instructor.

This one-session class will train students on how to use the Asylum’s Flashforge and Taz 3D printers safely and effectively. Participants will learn how to run a print by using the 3D model compiler (Simplify3D), printing parts, changing materials, properly removing parts from the beds, and properly disposing of all materials after the print: all the training you need to get going in one afternoon!

This entry-level class will walk you through using our FlashForge and Taz printers so that you can use them independently following your training and testing session. This class is a required prerequisite before taking our Level Up 3D Printing sessions.

The safety of our community, members, and instructors is our greatest priority. Students must wear a mask that complies with our updated safety policies, regardless of vaccination status.
