Policies: Refunds, Cancellations, Youth
CANCELLATIONS: Your class may be cancelled if too few people register. A decision will be made a few days before the class is scheduled to run, and you will be notified of the cancellation and your registration refunded in full.
EMERGENCY CLOSINGS: The Asylum will close to the public for weather emergencies. In the case of weather emergency, monthly members may still access the building, but staff will not be on duty, and classes will be cancelled. Closings will be posted to the front page of the website, and you will be emailed if your class is affected. We will attempt to reschedule any classes cancelled due to emergency, but if we are unable to reschedule or you are unable to make the newly scheduled class your registration will be refunded in full.
REFUNDS: We offer full refunds for any class cancellations more than three days* in advance of the class start date. After that point refunds are contingent upon the Asylum being able to fill the seat. No refunds whatsoever are offered for same-day cancellations. To request a refund for a class, please fill out this form. *Note: There are select classes that require one week notice to allow us to fill empty class slots, as these classes require students to prepare materials. This notice listed in the class description on EventBrite.
We also offer refunds for unused day-pass packages within 3 months of the purchase date. Partially used day-pass packages cannot be refunded, but we can transfer unused day-passes to someone as a gift by request. To request a refund for a day-pass package, please fill out this form.
YOUTH: Do to insurance restrictions, we currently cannot serve students under the age of 18.
