Cost: Intro Class – $25 + $1.61 ticket fee; with Sewing Theme Night access – $50+$2.24
In this class, students will learn the ins and outs of sewing machines, and will learn how to sew safely and accurately in straight lines, curves, and sharp corners. Students will work on two pillows as a final project to demonstrate their proficiency with their sewing machine.
This introductory class can also be purchased bundled with a discounted theme night membership, where the student is allowed to stay at the Asylum for an additional 3 hours to practice sewing on their own projects with helpful experienced instructors on hand at all times.
The goal of this class is to familiarize students both with how to sew and with how a sewing machine works, so that they can immediately apply their skills at home or on Asylum machinery.
Students will need to purchase an inexpensive package of materials from the instructor to complete the class project.
